Garden & Plant Design

IMG-2255.jpg

Being a qualified garden designer, I know good design starts with you, the customer.

The project will begin with meeting you to discuss your intent of use and what your desired look and maintenance will be, and of course the budget! These are all integral parts of the design process in order to achieve your ideal outdoor space.

Plants are critical to give the garden its overall structure and theme; whether its Japanese, English cottage or even tropical, plant designs are an important component of the overall plan.

Alternatively, if you have a bed that looks a little empty or needs revamping, I am happy to meet with you for a free talk and quotation.

We will stay in close contact with you through every step of the design process, making sure we are creating the garden of your dreams.

You can choose from 3 packages as stated below:

  • Bronze – This package includes a site survey, one design done to scale with the layout, recommendations and planting list, all drawings done to scale.

  • Silver – A site survey, concept design and a final design, recommendations and planting list, all drawings done to scale.

  • Gold – A site survey, concept design with a final design and planting design (3 designs in total), recommendations and all drawn to scale.

I also offer a planting design package which includes

planting design specifically for your beds with pin point scales and positioning for planting.

Site Survey

The next step is to survey the garden. Taking accurate measurements and difference in levels, whilst taking note of any trees or shrubs that you would like to keep or have removed.

The Design

The design stage enables you to choose the design package you require from bronze to gold as above. Once you have chosen your design package we will put together a labeled and scaled colour plan drawing and an elevation drawing. This enables you to gain a comprehensive idea of what your outdoor space will look like.

All ideas will be based on the questionnaire that you will be provided with, previous discussions and your brief. The designs will include planting ideas and a choice of different materials.
